what is volte mobiles
Volte Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator, or MVNO. Volte is part of the mobile-operator market with a commitment to provide the best possible service for their customers.
Volte Mobile was founded in Switzerland by three friends and former Siemens employees, Daniel Brugger, Nils Martin Hauser and Dominic Guignard. In order to find investors for their idea, they used an online crowdfunding platform called Seedmatch.net as well as some other online platforms such as AngelList and RocketHub.
Within days of launching on these sites in 2012 Volte Mobile had raised over $200K from 17 different investors who shared their experience with entrepreneurship on these sites. Volte Mobile received a lot of attention in this phase of the company’s development. The subscriber base was growing by around 50 new customers per day and before long the founders were forced to move from their shared office to an actual store front.

Recently, Volte Mobile has been named the Best MVNO at the Consumer World Awards 2014. The award is only given out to companies that have demonstrated great innovation and customer service in the world of telecoms.
The company is planning on expanding operations throughout Europe.
Volte is a freelance network operator in the sense that it does not possess a network of its own. Volte provides means for customers to use their own devices on the networks of other providers.
Volte has no direct relationship with mobile operators, instead it offers its customers a contract with a local mobile network operator. In this way, Volte is compatible with all devices on the relevant network and offers full warranty, support and repair services from local providers. Customers also have access to online tools through which they can manage their accounts and keep track of data usage. The website is available in nearly every language including English, German, French and Spanish as well as Chinese, Turkish and Vietnamese.

What is Volte Mobile Technology?
Volte mobile technology supports simultaneous Voice and Data services on a single network. This technology is required to achieve better quality of service (QoS) for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services. A VoLTE call will seamlessly switch from Wi-Fi or cellular to the other, depending on which one is most suitable at that time. This means you can be connected to your office PBX via your company Wi-Fi and still make a VoLTE voice call when you leave for lunch, as long as your phone is in LTE coverage.
The main difference between VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi) and VoLTE is that VoLTE requires the support of both cellular and WiFi. This allows mobile users to stay connected to a WiFi network while remaining under the control of their chosen operator. In our previous article, we introduced the concept of Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) which utilised the WiFi network to switch between cellular and Wi-Fi networks. The feature has been around since 2012, but the technology was only officially launched in 2017.
What you need to get started with Volte Mobile Technology?
If your phone is capable of running both Volte and Wi-Fi, then you're off to a good start. If it's not, then you'll have to root your device first. This can be quite complicated for some users, but our guide should help you through the process. Once your phone is rooted it will allow you to install the Volte app from the Play Store onto your handset.
